What a great day! Ava saw her reflection today during tummy time and gave herself a great big smile. This was the first time she saw her adorable face.
Dave and I were thrilled that we captured this moment together.
Another first for Ava is her ability to roll from her back to her side. It’s only a matter of time before she rolls to her tummy. We will be thrilled when that happens.

November 1st is Ava’s 100 day. The 100 day birthday celebration is called Baek-il and is a pretty big deal in the Korean culture. Ava is doing great and growing cuter each and every day. Auntie Amy arrived today for a visit and we are looking forward to a fun week with her.
Ava went to a Halloween birthday party last week. She went as a piece of sushi.
Ava has found her hands during the last few weeks and cannot get enough of them! It’s really cute when she misses them and ends up sucking on her wrists.

Ava is 12 weeks and changing every day. Ava has become quite the Chatty Cathy and tries talking all day long. She is sleeping better and also sitting alone in the bouncy chair and entertaining herself for 5-15 minutes. We are enjoying every moment and taking tons of pictures. Family came over this past Saturday for chili and Ava got to hang with her cousin Jasmine.

Every day Ava is changing and becoming more interactive and smiley and just a incredible joy. We have plenty of small hardships but the entire experience of becoming new parents has been amazing… Ava is making more and more eye contact and smiling and even started reaching for things. Ava actually rolled over yesterday during tummy time and I can’t wait to catch it on video. We are both loving every moment of this and looking forward to many milestones.

We are having a blast with Ava even though she is more work than the average baby. Ava needs to be help pretty much all day and night and does not like laying on her back. We are both really enjoying being parents and watching Little Ava grow and change every day.
